A guest lecture was organized by research committee of St.Vincent Pallotti College on writing an effective research proposal on 23/09/2023. The main objective of the guest lecture was to enlighten our faculty members about the importance of research projects and the ways to present research proposal in an effective way. The Guest lecture was presided over by Dr. Vijay Babu, who is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in National Institute of technology, Raipur.He has been awarded with UGC- Post Doctoral Fellowship, Government of India. He presented many research papers in various highly reputed universities in London , Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Dubai and has published his research papers in SAGE, Springer , IUP etc. Dr. Vijay Babu has been guiding 04 research scholars and one scholar is awarded Ph.D recently.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Vijay emphasized on various aspects of research proposal and also illustrated it with the help of examples based on the interest area of faculty members. He presented a comprehensive overview of what a research proposal is and why it is crucial in the research process. Detailed explanation of the essential sections that constitute a research proposal was given to the participants.
The Guest lecture was followed by an interaction session with faculty members who are aspiring to submit their research proposals. During this session, the speaker guided the faculty members in their related topic and also briefed them with different funding agencies for submitting their research proposals.
The Session concluded with a thank you note delivered by Vice- Principal, Dr. G. Padma Gouri. As a token of gratitude a Thank You Memento was presented by Principal, Dr. Kuldeep Dubey, and Vice-Principal of our institution.
The guest lecture on “ Writing an Effective Research Proposal ” was highly beneficial and well received by the faculty members .The lecture not only provided valuable insights into the art of crafting research proposals but also served as a source of inspiration for those planning to embark on research projects. Faculty members would also like to express their sincere gratitude to Fr.
